Cobra and Primavera

I’ve been working with a client helping them integrate Cobra and Primavera P6. Before we arrived, they had been busy installing and setting up a Primavera API Server so their Cobra users could make use of it when running the integration. This would make sense as it would take the processing away from their client machines and get it done on the server.

Unfortunately the Cobra Integration doesn’t make use of the Primavera API in remote mode. We took a look at how it works and realised we could develop a drop in replacement that could make use of the Primavera API server.

Our client decided they would just carry on with the local API, but we’re still well on the way to developing are drop-in replacement for the existing Cobra 4.7.x Primavera API integration.
